A four-storey rock-cut cave temple on a hill above the Krishna, opposite Vijayawada. Its best-known image is a reclining Vishnu about five metres long, carved from one block of stone.

The lower levels may first have been Buddhist rock shelters. The upper floors have pillared halls with images of Vishnu, Shiva and other gods. The caves look out over the Krishna river.
