A temple in Porbandar dedicated to Sudama, Krishna's poor childhood friend, said to have been born here. It is one of the very few temples of Sudama in India.

In the courtyard a small maze (lakh chorasi) is laid out, and people walk it believing it frees them from rebirth. Porbandar is also the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi.

Sudama visited Krishna in Dwarka with only a handful of beaten rice as a gift. Krishna ate it with joy, and Sudama returned home to find his hut turned into a palace.
