A rock-cut Shiva cave of about the 8th century in the middle of Pune, with a round Nandi pavilion cut from the same rock in front. Parts of the cave were never finished.

The cave was cut into a basalt outcrop, with a pillared hall and a shrine at the back. The circular Nandi mandapa in the courtyard, with an umbrella-shaped roof on square pillars, is rare in rock-cut architecture. The work seems to have been abandoned when the builders struck poor rock.
