A group of early temples at Mukhalingam, once Kalinganagara, the capital of the Eastern Gangas. The main Madhukeswara temple, in the Kalinga style, has a linga with a face of Shiva.

The village also has the Someswara and Bhimeswara temples. The carvings show the same style as the early temples of Bhubaneswar, since the Gangas ruled both regions.
