A Jain temple at Mahudi founded in 1917 by the monk Buddhisagarsuri, with a main image of Padmaprabha and a much-visited shrine of Ghantakarna Mahavir, a protector deity worshipped by Jains and Hindus alike.

Devotees offer sukhadi, a sweet of wheat, ghee and jaggery, to Ghantakarna Mahavir. It is a strong custom that the sukhadi must be eaten within the temple grounds and never taken outside. The biggest crowds come on Kali Chaudas, the night before Diwali.
