A Shiva temple at the foot of the Courtallam waterfalls. It is a Paadal Petra Sthalam, and its Chitra Sabha, a hall of painted walls, is one of the five halls of Nataraja.

The temple is laid out in the shape of a conch. Nearby, the Chitra Sabha is a hall whose walls are covered with paintings of gods and stories, and it is counted among the five Sabhas where Nataraja dances. Pilgrims bathe in the falls before worship.

Agastya, refused entry to the Vishnu shrine, is said to have touched its image and turned it into a linga. The marks of his fingers are said to be visible on the linga.
