A shrine of the goddess Hingula, worshipped as fire (Agnirupa), on the bank of the Singada river west of Talcher. It is one of the best-known Shakti shrines of Odisha, and its nine-day festival in Chaitra draws pilgrims from across the state.

The annual Hingula Yatra begins on the fourteenth day of the bright half of Chaitra and lasts nine days. The shrine has an old link with the Jagannath temple at Puri: the goddess is believed to be present as the fire of the Jagannath temple kitchen.
