A goddess temple on a hill on the north bank of the Brahmaputra near Guwahati, built under the Ahom king Siva Singha in the 18th century. The rocks around it bear old carvings of gods and goddesses.

The temple is reached by a long flight of steps. Rock-cut images on the hill are older than the temple. Durga Puja is celebrated here with great devotion.
