A Narasimha temple at Dharmapuri on the Godavari, with separate shrines of the calm Yoga Narasimha and the fierce Ugra Narasimha. The town is an important bathing place during the Godavari Pushkaram.

Besides the two Narasimha shrines, the town has a Ramalingeswara temple and a Brahma Pushkarini tank. Where the Godavari flows north for a stretch (Dakshina Vahini), pilgrims bathe, especially during the Pushkaram held every twelve years.
