A temple dedicated to Mother India, with no image except a large relief map of undivided India carved in marble. It was built by the nationalist Shiv Prasad Gupt and opened by Mahatma Gandhi in 1936.

The map shows the mountains, rivers and seas of the Indian subcontinent in relief, to scale, with heights marked. It took several years to make. It stands on the campus of the nationalist university founded in 1921.
